Choosing Voices
Your scene partner needs a voice too. LineCue offers a wide range of voices for the other characters in your script, and for stage directions, if you show those.

Assigning voices
From a script's settings, in-rehearsal settings, or the self-tape settings, tap Assign Voices. You'll see a row for each character (plus one for stage directions). Tap any row to browse and preview voices, then pick the one that fits.
Browsing voices
Filter by gender and accent to narrow things down. Each voice has a preview you can play before choosing it. Some voices carry a specific regional accent (for example Cockney, Scouse, or Southern) rather than a general national one. That's flagged clearly so you know what you're picking.
Voice availability by plan
- Free and Standard plans include a wide selection of natural-sounding voices.
- Pro unlocks the full voice catalogue, including additional accents and styles.
If you previously had access to a voice through a Pro subscription and your plan changes, you can keep using that voice until you switch away from it. After that, it needs Pro again to reselect.
